CÉLFIE DARLIN'!

Like almost everyone nowadays, I'm definitely a self confessed selfie addict. So when I came across this baby pink tee in H&M in Camden a few months ago, it just screamed 'BUY ME!'. I love the neckline, as it is quite a stretchy material so I was able to alter it to be an off shoulder top as I have styled it here. Its obviously a take on the popular Céline tee and later the Célfie copy - so its almost a double copy! I'm not usually a fan of copies of designer pieces however this is so far off the mark and so playful that I made an exception. Paired with this equally playful white skater skirt in floral lace, some summertime femininity could be incorporated; a necessary element in all my outfits! A chunky black and white necklace also breaks up the neckline of the top against my skin, whilst also bringing all the colour elements of this look together! Also had to whip out my beautiful pink strappy heels once again, I fall in love again every time I wear them!

SATURDAY SALES BARGAIN

New purchases this weekend provided me with ample outfit inspiration. Once again I wasn't supposed to be spending when I came across this little beauty in the River Island sales (along with a few other items the following day, soon to be featured.....). I had had my eye on a white skort for a while, but when I saw this gorgeous satin-esque powder blue piece reduced to £12, it was not to be missed! More and more items are slowly appearing in my wardrobe in this colour - its a flattering shade of blue that works for both winter and summer! Here I paired it with a white crochet top, another summer texture, with so many options in stores and online right now. A lace black bralet underneath allows some modesty and provides an alternative to a bra. I then accessorised with black and silver accessories, to minimise fussiness against the floral crochet pattern. A simple floral elastic in my hair matching my top yet again brings a festival element to the look. Lovely in the sunshine!

Today I learnt it is pretty difficult to pose in strong wind and direct sunlight!

PAISLEY PRINT

I bought this gorgeous dress a while ago and it has definitely been a successful purchase. It has cut out sides and an open back, so it almost looks like a two piece with a belt, yet the front is still attached. I always try to go for more classic prints that will remain on trend and so won't go out of style; this print is subtle and would work for both night and day. Here I have styled it up with my glitter clutch which obviously creates a sparkly evening outfit. With the addition of a denim jacket it is made into a more casual summer evening ensemble, perfect for a barbecue or party. The thin material and cut of the dress also means that you don't overheat after dancing on a night out. You'll notice a new location as promised.. is it sad that my lipstick matches the flowers?!

OH MY LOVIN'

I have had my eye on so many beautiful pieces from Oh My Love London for a while. It's always been a concession I search first when in Topshop, but I had never actually searched their online website. Last week I discovered their site and went a little crazy in the sale. It was delivered quickly, neatly wrapped in lovely personalised tissue paper, which was obviously immediately torn open! The prints and quality of the materials are so beautiful, soft and floaty - so much so that I bought both a playsuit AND a dress in the same print! I would seriously recommend browsing their sale section right now as there is up to 70% off so many gorgeous pieces - my bank balance won't allow any more crazy spending! (Although I may be currently adding more pieces to my shopping cart... Shh..)

The other items I purchased will be featured in August, when I am on holiday in South Africa. I'm super excited for this trip for a number of reasons, but for you it means different locations for my posts! I decided to feature one of my purchases to kickstart this chain of Oh My Love appreciation posts, which is also the last from my Dunham Massey shoot. I styled my gorgeous white 'nobody minds' slip dress with this peachy floral kimono borrowed from my sister (she's so kind), some pink wedges, another jewellery overload and my favourite black hat.  The dress acts as a canvas for any outfit, so would work with just about anything! Its colour and light material makes it perfect for easy wearing in summer, but could also very easily be worn with tights during the winter if you were looking for a brighter element. The kimono is such a beautiful silky material, it made me want one of my own! My hat is another versatile accessory, as it can be worn both in summer and winter, despite the colour!
