The fur coat is out! One of my favourite pieces I have ever bought in my whole wardrobe, I came across this furry beauty at a vintage fair last year. Don't worry, its not real; I'm not that kind of girl! Vintage is a fever that so many in fashion have caught or want to catch. Personally, I've scoured charity shops far and wide and maybe only ever found a couple of things that were worth buying. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places. I was starting to think that I was just not cut out for that kind of shopping - but vintage is something I can tap into! With my interest in fashion history and history in general, I love to think that there's a real story behind the clothes I buy, even if it is marginally more expensive than popping to the local charity shop. This lovely piece of outerwear has served me so well - a worthy investment! Not only does it keeps me cosy and protected from the bitter winter wind (which has decided to intensify recently, clearly shown in this shoot), but it has also been the star of a number of my uni photography styling projects. The colour is unusual too; not quite white and not quite grey - its a perfect wolfy hybrid! I wanted to show it off in it's first appearance, so chose this simple fishnet panel white skater dress and my trusty wedges. I also treated myself to a new MAC lipstick last week, as I needed a little pick-me-up - I chose a matte 'Diva' - MAC definitely knows how to cheer a girl up!

My uni workload is overwhelming at the moment, so I'm forced to let blog posts take a back seat for a while - I will be posting more sporadically, but will be back in full force at Christmas and in the new year!
