POLAR BLUE

Grey is a soft and flattering colour for winter, often neglected for black and white or autumnal camel. It coordinates with most colours (especially pink with grey fur!) and I love wearing it for a change - when teamed with my blue duster coat it emanates an icy winter feel, with the coat making this casual look more refined. I've been wearing my coat with more wintery layers as it gets chillier; more practical than the look it was first featured in. This white scuba skater skirt is very similar to the incredibly popular American Apparel pleated skirts, but cheaper and with less dramatic pleats. I bought it during the summer when it was the perfect girly skirt to wear with crop tops and bralets for chilled days in the sun, but as its a thicker material it works just as well with tights, layered tops and knitwear. A plum lipstick is a gorgeous winter colour, although it looks slightly gothic a statement lip is great when you're feeling a little plain.

Another music note... everyone needs to be listening to Train's new album!
