Although it's a well documented trend, I'm not normally someone to experiment with multiple prints, let alone when they should clash in any other circumstance.
Here there's just something that seems to work, perhaps it's the mix of blues and the fact that the very subtle tartan of the scarf; it compliments rather than complicates. The range of soft hues means that it can be worn with a number of colours to animate an outfit. It's also large enough to use as a wrap. You may recognise this striped top from my holiday lookbook back in August, (see here), where I mentioned that it was versatile enough to also wear in winter. Here I put that theory into practice, paired with my super soft Hollister skirt to bring out the colder tones. Maintaining the blue theme, the powdery duster coat brings in some longline elegance, as well as my floppy hat. Softer colours are always a nice alternative to the monotonous black.
