Finding different and interesting places to shoot can have its advantages and disadvantages. This time it brought about a funny story, and a chance to show the authenticity of the fashion blogger. Whilst preparing to pose with this pebbledash wall as my backdrop, a local man passed by, questioning whether I was wearing anything under my coat; I replied with the obvious, although he was intent on giving posing advice, leaning against the wall with his eyelashes fluttering. He was unaware of what I was actually doing, which then gave me the chance to explain! He might not have been particularly interested, but he was intrigued in the concept. It gave us a good laugh and definitely had to be retold.
The outfit - yet another pink ensemble, highlighting a recent purchase which I adored upon first sight. The zip detailing, A-line cut and short hemline of this skirt give it a 60's inspired look, something which I can experiment with many pieces in my wardrobe; combined with the subtle pocket detailing, the beauty is in the details. Grey is another highly circulated colour out there this winter, creating a softened tone when paired with pink. Concerning footwear, re-finding pairs of shoes in my wardrobe which have been so obviously staring at me everyday on their rack is helpful when adding variety to my posts.
